Custom Laptop Skinning

Our most economical form of customization provides a unique branding or customization opportunity for your notebook. We start with a high gloss scratch resistant vinyl sheet and custom form it and fit it to your notebook. We use the highest quality vinyl that has thousands of microscopic air channels to allow air to pass through without causing bubbles. Our skins are backed with 3M backing that provides a aggressive adhesive to stay on the machine but yet can also be removed later if needed. Custom skinning adds approximately 3-7 business days after production of the machine. With our custom skins you can choose any skins from our library or design your own.

Custom Laptop Painting

Where others stopped at colored plastic, we went to automotive finishes. Where others stopped at seven colors, we went to infinity. Every Xotic PC we make can be custom painted in any color you choose. We use industrial quality paints under deep layers of glossy clearcoats. This is the real, baked-on, tough as nails paintwork that cars get. Whether you want a basic blue, a chrome finish or a $1,000 per pint color changing paint, we do it all.

We use high quality automotive paint so you may choose regular, metallic or pearl paint finishes. We can match any PMS (PMS Color Chart) or Automotive (Automotive Color Chart) color and can be done in Matte or High Gloss Solid, Metallic, Pearl or Color Shift. We do custom logos or designs (See below). We can match any color sample. We recommend on providing us with complete artwork to avoid added development time. We have a team of great designers to assist you with design or simply provide us with the graphics & design you want.

"SOLID" indicates a smooth, even color.

"METALLIC" paints contains tiny metal flake particles, which sparkle brightly.

"PEARL" paints contains a "pearlcoat" ground formica additive, which is finer and smoother than metallic particles. Pearlcoats are similar in appearance to metallic paints, but generally take direct light for the additive to reflect.

"COLOR-SHIFTS" are paints covered with an additive that contains millions of tiny prisms, which reflect underlying colors depending on the angle of light hitting them. In practical terms, this means that as you move around your custom painted laptop, it will change colors! (Contact for Pricing)

"Chroming" is a new process we just started where we can apply a Chrome, Copper or Gold mirror finish to the machine. With our Chroming Process we can also tint the chrome to any color of your choice. (i.e. Blue, Red or Green Tinted Chrome). (Pictures coming soon!) Our chroming process will add 6-9 business days to our standard painting lead time.

In addition to our painting pricing below Chroming adds the following to the standard pricing:

• +$65 for A Surface Only
• +$90 for ABC Surfaces Only
• +$120 for ABCD Surfaces Only

We can provide the exact auto finish of any car, foreign or domestic, ever made! One of the easiest ways to order your custom color is just to specify a make, model, year, and color of car you like. For instance, when we asked the painter for "Corvette Red, the response we got was "What year would you like?". So please be as specific as possible. Please keep in mind that due to differences in the way different computer monitors display colors, the actual color values may appear slightly different on your monitor.

Pricing & Availability

Please note that we cannot duplicate copyrighted logos without the owner's permission, and no proceeds are charged on the inclusion of a logo. Custom paint adds approximately 2-4 weeks after production of the machine and approved artwork. Xotic PC offers four types of Paintwork Options.

Terms & Warranty
All Xotic paint schemes are warranted for 1 Years against fading, peeling, cracking and blistering. Chips and physical damage are not covered. All custom color paint schemes & skins are non-refundable.
