I received my Force 16F2 in April and have had only minor issues; was supposed to get Bluetooth and didn't get it. Upon reading the customize list it is supposed to be in there regardless of which wireless option is picked so I picked the Bigfoot wireless with 3rd antenna. If you are going to order this laptop be sure to get the wireless option that SAYS bluetooth is integrated otherwise you'll be sorry. Not a big issue but nothing should have been wrong with this $2500 laptop. Keyboard is flexy on the left hand side and it gets hot on the left side too, especially playing games so keep that part unblocked at all times. Basic screen is beautiful, wouldn't recommend anything else. Sound is the best! This thing is heavy, though, at over 7 lbs, but feels (other than the keyboard) like it's built like a tank. I've got the i-7 2860 processor with a 120 gb Intel 520 SSD, the GTX 580m video card, a 750 gb HDD and 16 gb of ram so this thing is FAST and can play anything with ease. I would recommend getting an SSD for your C drive and a regular HDD for the secondary drive. This way you can put programs, games and your OS on the SSD and everything else on the HDD, making for a faster computer. |

I received My Force 16-F2 a couple weeks ago now, and I can say Xotic PC went far above and beyond my expectations. I got my rig with a powerful Intel Core I7 2.2 (3.1 turbo) GHz processor with an Nvidia GTX 570; top of the line components and for a far better price than any of Xotic PC's competitors. One of my concerns with any gaming rig is heat, but with the IC Diamond thermal compound they include with processor upgrade, the laptop runs cool even under the most intense gaming conditions. It feels nice and tough, looks very sleek, and absolutely kills it when it comes to games. Xotic PC has definitely earned a loyal customer and I can't thank them enough. If you go for the Force 16-F2 or the Force 1761, rest assured you are going to get a winner. Thank you Xotic PC |
