Many ASUS Ensemble (Branded) Laptops include 1 Year North America Accidental Damage Warranty (ADW) from purchase. The ASUS Accidental Damage Warranty requires Registration through ASUS within 60 days of purchase for activation.

You may return software for refund or credit only if the sealed package containing the diskettes is unopened.

Returned products must be in as-new condition, and all of the manuals, diskettes, power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with it.

Customer must use whatever means is necessary to ensure that product is returned to and received by XOTIC PC within 20 Calendar Days of the Date of SHIPPING (original ship date)

XOTIC PC WARRANTS THIS HARDWARE PRODUCT AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE. IF YOU DISCOVER A DEFECT, XOTIC PC WILL AT ITS OPTION, REPAIR, REPLACE OR REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS PRODUCT AT NO CHARGE TO YOU FOR PARTS AND LABOR FOR 1-YEARS, PROVIDED YOU RETURN IT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, AND PROVIDED YOU OBTAIN A RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER PRIOR TO SHIPPING YOUR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.

XOTIC PC will pay GROUND SHIPPING BOTH WAYS for any proper warranty claim if shipping to and from a physical address (no PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses) in the United States of America (2nd Business Day for Puerto Rico). XOTIC PC WILL NOT SHIP TO ADDRESSES OUTSIDE OF THE United States of America (Other than Puerto Rico and APO/FPO addresses). For APO/FPO addresses you will pay the shipping and insurance to and from our Repair Center.

Contracts start at the date of purchase of product covered and cover parts and labor. Warranty provides coverage for years 2 and 3 after the standard 1 Year Manufacturer's warranty included on every machine. Shipping charges are not covered by the warranty provider. AC Adapters and batteries are warranted for 1 Year from purchase date and cannot be extended.


Standard 2 -3 Year Laptop Accidental LCD Damage Protection Warranties:
This special 2- 3 year screen protection warranty plan adds accidental damage coverage for your screen. Day-1 Screen Protection begins from date of purchase. 3 Year Limited Warranty on Laptop/Desktops Systems, Media Centers & Servers:
XOTIC PC warrants this product and its parts against defects in materials or workmanship for three years labor and one year parts* from the original date of invoice. During this period, XOTIC PC will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at XOTIC PC option, without charge to you. All original parts replaced by XOTIC PC or its authorized service centers, become the property of XOTIC PC. You are responsible for the payment, at current rates, for any service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.

XOTIC PC makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to an implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this computer other than as set forth below. XOTIC PC makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer's product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.

Except as provided below, XOTIC PC is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the computer. Customer service is among our highest priorities. Here at XOTIC PC, we consider you a customer for life, and will continue to provide outstanding customer service and support, even after the sale. Our philosophy is to extend ourselves indefinitely to our customers in providing for their every need. We will never compromise our efforts to provide the "best overall value" for our customers.


Here are our basic tenets of our desktop warranties:

Parts & Labor Warranties:
We will NEVER charge you for labor or for LIFETIME 24 hour technical support (All desktop systems come with LIFETIME Labor warranties standard). All Desktops come with 1 YEAR parts warranty. (2, 3, & 4 Year Parts Warranty options are available, and often times, many desktop components come with 3-5 year parts warranties from the manufacturer). During the duration of your parts warranty, XOTIC PC will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at XOTIC PC discretion, without charge to you. All original parts replaced by XOTIC PC or its authorized service centers, become the property of XOTIC PC. You are responsible for the payment, at current rates, for any service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.

Returns & Repairs:
If within the first 30 days (30 days from date of shipment) you experience technical problems with your system, and/or would like to return your system for a refund, XOTIC PC will refund less a 15% restocking fee on your system due to the high amount of labor, testing, and unrecoverable costs of building custom desktop systems. (Desktops with custom painting, custom skins, and/or other possibly irreversible finishes are automatically charged a 20% restocking fee, regardless of when the desktop is returned). XOTIC PC does not accept returns for refund after 30 days (30 days from date of shipment). All shipping costs and rush production fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. When a Free Shipping coupon is offered it is deducted from the product's price and shipping is always charged on all items shipped.

A cancellation fee of 3% will be assessed to any canceled desktop order regardless of payment method.

Canceled orders take 24-48 business hours to complete. If shipment takes place before cancellation is completed, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

If you decide to cancel your desktop order and your order has already gone into the production phase (phase 2) a 15% restocking fee will be assessed.

Shipping Information:
XOTIC PC will cover Ground Shipping costs both ways (2 ways) on systems needing repair within the first 30 days (30 days from date of shipment). (XOTIC PC uses UPS for all repair shipping returns). An RMA Number or Support Ticket is required for this support service. You will be required to cover shipping costs after the 30 day term (30 days from date of shipment) if requesting repair or service. You will be required to cover addition shipping costs or methods beyond standard ground shipping both ways (2 way).

Software & Accessories Returns & Warranties:
Opened or active software is not eligible for return or refund. Opened or damaged external accessories, such as but not limited to external keyboards, mice, monitors, speakers, and headsets are non-returnable and non-refundable unless warranted under the warranty provided by the component's original manufacturer. XOTIC PC provides no warranties, or extended warranties on any external components such as but not limited to keyboards, mice, monitors, speakers, and headsets.

Desktop Warranty Terms & Conditions:
XOTIC PC makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to an implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this computer other than as set forth below. XOTIC PC makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer's product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.

Except as provided above, XOTIC PC is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the computer. Under no circumstances shall XOTIC PC be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the computer.

The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.


Excluded from this warranty in all cases:
Any damage caused during shipment (except the shipment to the original purchaser) and any damage caused by such as but not limited too: impacts, fluids, floods, fire, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster; unauthorized changes or modifications, attachments or peripherals, improper use, environmental damage, improper installation or electrical supply adjustments; improper maintenance; any other misuse, abuse, or mishandling. XOTIC PC's sole liability, under this warranty, for failure to repair or replace the hardware system after a reasonable number of attempts is limited to replacement or, at XOTIC PC's sole discretion, refund of the original purchase price less shipping costs and rush production fees as stated above. XOTIC PC will, under no circumstances, be liable for any other damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential and other similar claims whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, or strict liability. Damages excluded include but are not limited to: loss of data or software, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of use of the hardware system, loss of use of related equipment, cost of substituted or replacement equipment, purchaser's time, injury to property, and all claims of third parties.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, XOTIC PC MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS, VERBAL OR IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS SOLD BY XOTIC PC.

Other Terms & Conditions:

Barebone purchases come standard with a 1 Year Limited Warranty and no shipping coverage for mail in Depot Repair. Any barebones system that are sent in for repairs, that are the result of faulty hardware added by anyone other than XOTIC PC, will not be covered under the Warranty and will be charged a $89 diagnostic fee for testing & diagnostics. Physical damage (liquid damage, physical abuse, etc.) will void the XOTIC PC Warranty. Barebone batteries and power adapters are warranted through the manufacturer. Any reports of missing/damaged items need to be reported within 2 weeks of delivery. Purchasing our extended warranties extend the internal hardware or provide LCD ADP Protection. Custom exterior modifications made to the system by XOTIC PC are not extended (i.e. Paint Jobs, Skinning). When returns are set up for External Accessories purchased, they must be returned unopened in their original retail package to be eligible for refund.

From time to time promotional items are offered for Free during promotional periods. The price of these items is taken out of the price of the laptop and provided as a Promotional Item. In the event of a return for refund the price of the item will be deducted from the refund if the Laptop/PC is returned. Additionally sometimes promotions or discounts are offered on Sager Laptops which requires shipment to XOTIC PC. In the event an order is canceled after departure from Sager, shipping Fee's back to Sager will be taken out of the refund.

XOTIC PC may contact you prior to processing your credit/debit card payment. Upon confirmation of your order details, your card payment will then be processed. Once an order is confirmed and payment is processed, any refund requested thereafter will be subject to a cancellation fee due to labor involved with processing and/or production of the order.



Non-Refundable XOTIC PC Services
Due to the amount of time spent customizing and testing computer systems, XOTIC PC Services are non-refundable services. In laptop and desktop configuration pages, any option labeled "XPC Service" is a service from XOTIC PC which is non-refundable upon the return or cancellation of any system. If you have any questions regarding our services, return or cancellation policies, please contact us.


Order Cancellations
Canceled orders take 24-48 business hours to complete. If shipment takes place before cancellation is completed, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Any laptop orders canceled after moving to production status are subject to a 3% cancel fee due to the high amount of labor involved. If you decide to cancel your desktop order and your order has already gone into the production phase (phase 2) a 15% restocking fee will be assessed due to the high amount of labor involved.


Procedures for Obtaining Warranty Service
RMA (Returning Merchandise Authorization) Policy:

If repairs are required, the customer must obtain a RMA number and provide proof of purchase. RMA and services are rendered by XOTIC PC or Authorized Service Centers only. Any shipping costs on any item returned for repair is the customers' responsibility, unless specifically indicated otherwise. Please contact
service@xoticpc.com if you have questions or concerns about your particular warranty. All returned parts must have a RMA number written clearly on the outside of the package along with a letter detailing the problems and a copy of the original proof of purchase. No COD packages will be accepted. No package will be accepted without a RMA number written on the outside of the package. RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days from the date of issue. International customers must pay shipping both ways for any repairs, including warranty repairs. Please refer to our Contact Us page to contact us for setting up any RMA.


After One-Year Warranty - Post Warranty Repair
For post warranty repair, the procedure is the same however; you are responsible for shipping charges both way, current labor (rate per hour; waived for 2nd and 3rd year), and the current price of part(s) used in repair.


International Warranty
XOTIC PC will provide service for any International Order at our US Service Center. Shipping is paid by the customer both ways for any DOA or warranty repair.

XOTIC PC will repair/replace the machine at our US Service Center anytime during the warranty period.



Governing Law
This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any litigation under this agreement shall be resolved in the trial courts of Lancaster County, State of Nebraska, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction on this matter.


Shipping Instructions
XOTIC PC advises shipping the computer in the original box and packing materials. If the original box and materials are no longer available, please call your shipper to receive specifications for shipping a package through them. Please do not attempt to ship via U.S. Mail. The U.S. Mail has no way of tracking the package in the event the package never arrives at XOTIC PC. We recommend UPS, FedEx or any other shipping company that uses tracking technology.

YOUR RMA NUMBER MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE. TAPE A NOTE TO THE SIDE OF YOUR COMPUTER, INSIDE THE BOX OR PACKAGE. THIS NOTE SHOULD INCLUDED:

YOUR FULL NAME, ADDRESS, RMA NUMBER, DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER AND PROBLEM(S) DESCRIPTION.



FULL SYSTEM:
  • The box should able to handle a weight of 40~50 lbs.
  • There should be a minimum of 3" of space on all six sides of the computer.
  • The 3" space shall be fitted with BLOCK FOAM material. Make sure the material will absorb an impact if dropped.
  • Use heavy-duty 3" packing tape rated at 60 lbs. To seal the package. Do not use masking tape - the driver will not accept the package.
  • When you ship your XOTIC PC product in for repair or credit, XOTIC PC is not liable or responsible for freight damage. It is recommended that you insure the package in the event that your XOTIC PC product is received freight damaged, you may be able to file a claim with your shipper.
  • If your computer is damaged due to improper shipping, you must instruct XOTIC PC to repair or return your computer within 30 days. Computer left beyond 30 days will be subject to a storage fee of $15 per day. However, in no event will storage of your computer exceed one year. Any item left beyond one year shall be discarded at XOTIC PC's sole discretion.
  • ALL DAMAGE WILL DELAY THE RETURN OF YOUR COMPUTER.

Individual parts must be handled in a similar manner:
  • The parts must have sufficient protection to prevent damage, use anti-static bag for memory and peripherals.
  • Hard drives, Floppy drives, CD-ROMS and peripherals must be boxed. Never use an envelope. These parts are sensitive to being dropped or crushed.
  • Any package received damaged will be kept in the receiving department and the Technical Support and Customer Service Supervisors will be contacted in order to contact you regarding the damage. You will then be advised to file a claim with the shipping company.

It is at XOTIC PC's sole discretion on whether to price match a competitor provided. Typographical and Pricing Errors
XOTIC PC is not responsible for any typographical and/or pricing errors on the website. In the event of a typographical and/or pricing error, XOTIC PC reserves the right to deny or refuse any order. XOTIC PC makes all efforts to ensure the accuracy of the description and pricing on all of the products.

*AC Adapters and batteries are warranted for 1 Year from purchase date and cannot be extended.

XOTIC PC OWNS ALL PARTS REMOVED FROM REPAIRED PRODUCTS. XOTIC PC USES NEW AND RECONDITIONED PARTS MADE BY VARIOUS MANUFACTURERS IN PERFORMING WARRANTY REPAIRS AND BUILDING REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS. IF XOTIC PC REPAIRS OR REPLACES A PRODUCT, ITS WARRANTY TERM IS NOT EXTENDED THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO HARDWARE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY OR FOR XOTIC PC THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THE XOTIC PC TRADEMARK, TRADE NAME, OR LOGO AFFIXED TO THEM.

XOTIC PC PROVIDES NO WARRANTY FOR ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH ITS PRODUCTS; SUCH SOFTWARE IS WARRANTED SEPARATELY BY THEIR MANUFACTURERS.

This warranty does not cover COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM THAT DO NOT MEET XOTIC PC's DEFINITION OF DEFECTIVE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LCD PANELS WITH LESS THAN SIX (6) DEFECTIVE PIXELS (If the LCD screen is scuffed or scratched the defective pixel warranty on the LCD screen is void), AC Adapters and Batteries other than the original primary AC Adapter and Battery provided with the laptop (The original primary AC Adapter and Battery are only covered for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase), normal wear and tear and any cosmetic damage to a Product that does not affect functionality, damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, damage caused by improperly packaging the warranted Product before being shipped in for repair, servicing not authorized by XOTIC PC, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by XOTIC PC. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF XOTIC PC, OR IF ANY XOTIC PC SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED. Failure resulting from liquid damage will void the remaining warranty term.

THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN EXPRESS OR IMPLIED XOTIC PC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO XOTIC PC DEALER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY. XOTIC PC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH XOTIC PC PRODUCTS.

NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to XOTIC PC, back up your data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). XOTIC PC will not be responsible for any lost data for any reason. Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. If you have any questions, call XOTIC PC for technical assistance.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions of implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

This warranty is only good in the United States of America. Repairs are only done at the US factory. In the unlikely event that you would have to return your computer for warranty repairs when outside the US, you would have to pay for the shipping/handling and insurance to and from the Repair Center.
