Legendary, I have had this laptop now for 2 months, I have been pushing its limits with some graphic intensive games, I will never go back to any game that is bellow ultra quality......for now. I got this with the Nvidia 675mx 4gb graphics card a 128GB SSD boot drive and 750 7200rpm drive (removed the semi useless optical drive super happy with the decision) with 12gb ram and I7 processor. I took my skyrim put it on the SSD and downloaded every graphics mod I could that increased quality (all the ones that said it would kill your FPS). I am still running at about 50 fps (in grassy dynamic areas). I monitor my GPU temperature during the long sessions and it stays around 60 c I keep it on a chiller mat with the fans off and opted for the upgraded thermal diamond compound. I couldn't be happier with this laptop! It gives me the quality I want, and the speed I need. Going back to my standard laptop a boot seems to take an eternity compared to the 15 seconds my 9150 takes! I love the customizable back lit keyboard (that can dance to your music!!!!), and the glossy screen, I've had matted screens my whole life and the glossy comes in super clear. I am still yet to figure out what some of the ports on the computer are for though, one emits a red light and I have NO idea what its for but better to have too many ports that I may use one day. The charge is rather bulky thought it is 180 watts what do you expect! The battery life is surprisingly long when you are not playing games. It is still heavy compared to other computers and rather bulky though it still fits in my bookbag. This laptop was well worth the 1600 and the nagging I got when I spent the money without consulting my significant other. Keep in mind that if you want real gaming power your better off getting a desktop they are just as powerful at a lower price, the only reason someone should buy a desktop replacement is when it is absolutely necessary. So if you do............BUY THIS LAPTOP!!!!!

Picked this up at Rolan's recommendation. Added a 128G SSD (c:), upped the RAM to 16G, and got the BD. I work with both PSE 10 and video. Both can put a strain on on a standard system. They were able to work around a back ordered video card and still get the machine to me in time to setup for my next trip. System is blazing fast. Seven seconds from time windows starts until hooked up to the Net. SSD rocks! Spend the extra couple bucks. Also really speeds up the PSE and video programs. Over a great experience with awesome customer service and a great product.

I've just received this laptop yesterday. I mainly use my PCs for video editing and gaming. Played around with it and this is my two cents to you: 1. Install the latest catalyst if you are planning to get the AMD 7970m Video Card. I recommend getting the GTX 680 if you can afford it. 2. You can rely on XoticPC to give you great customer service. They will answer you questions within hours. 3. The speakers are terrible. 4. Expect excellent build quality and stunning display. 5. You don't need anything more than 8gb of ram. 6. Get an SSD (Solid State Drive). It will be the best upgrade speed wise. Trust me, don't settle for an HDD. 7. Windows 8 is pretty unstable. Get Windows 7. 8. I wouldn't suggest buying this if you're only using it for school. It's heavy, beefy, and overall not that portable. Not to mention the power brick is enormous. 9. Don't pay for rush build. 10. Be patient, it will take a minimum of 12 business days to get to you. What can I say. This is the best Bang-for the Buck gaming Laptop out there. I've had this machine for about 2 months now. Upgrades were the stock matte screen (not the 95% gamut one), 3740 QM, 675M, Killer 1202 wireless, 750 GB 7200 rpm Hard drive and I bought and installed a 64 GB msata and I'm running intel SRT caching (I cant be bothered with having 2 drives). All other specs are stock and I’m running Windows 7 Professional. Overall I'm very impressed with the performance of this computer. For the money spent it was well worth it. I bought this after returning a troublesome alienware M14x R2. The screen is really good. Horizontal viewing angles are great and the vertical ones are pretty decent. Far superior than similar laptops in the marketplace. The 675M is awesome. I'm playing most games (bf3/nfs mw/hitman absolution/assasins creed etc) at ultra settings- with AA off or low at 1080p. The larger hard drive is nice to have and it starts up about 4-5 seconds slower than my brother's Alienware M14x - R2 which has a msata boot drive. So bottom line the intel SRT isn't that slow. I disabled it and started up and start up took about 25 seconds longer. Things to note are the touchpad is the same material as the palm rest and sightly recessed in the palm rest. There were a couple of moments where after a long day I was not looking at the computer and trying to scroll down and it wasn't working. And i was on the palm rest and not the touchpad so having them out of the same material can give you those moments. The sensitvity of the touchpad is really high from the factory where it picks up a motion when you are typing and accidentally hit the pad. I read on several forums where a lot of people were complaining about that. I just turned it all the way down and now it is not a problem anymore. The keyboard takes some getting used to as the keys are located differently. The left side of the keyboard is good. The right side could use some work. Big things to note are the home and end keys are fn + keys. So if you’re a big user of them, you either have to turn off the numpad or get used to holding fn to activate home or end. The feedback is great on the keyboard and I like it and it’s ‘relatively’ quiet. You could type in class and the whole class room wouldn’t know you’re typing away. If you typed with no white noise (a/c, heater, projector running, teacher talking etc) then people will hear you. The fans on this machine are great! I have the stock thermal compound and its working for me. Temps max in the mid-upper 70s (oC) under load. If the computer is not loaded you can’t hear the fans with white noise. When it is loaded (playing the same game) it is quieter than an Alienware M14x – R2 with IC diamond thermal compound. So the 2 fans really work well to keep it cool while keeping it quiet. The finish of the computer is good, and I like the rubber feel to it. However finger oils will stay on the computer and is a bit of a pain to get off. My only dislike about the design is the corner from where the palmrest and the front of the computer meets is a sharp one. If you are not at the right orientation to type, it will hurt/feel uncomfortable. The edge should be more rounded there. It takes some getting used to but you will adapt. Finally, weight. It is not a light computer by any means. But it is lighter than any comparable computer spec wise. It is about half to a pound heavier than the M14x R2. The power supply is huge but it is lighter than what you think it would be for its size. I really like the performance in this computer and it will be fine and able to handle itself for the next two years without any major upgrade. The staff at Xotic was really helpful through chat and email. Also, just keep a watch out for their deals I know I saved some money that way!

This has been definitely the best machine I've bought so far, it's really fat and comes packed ready to go for awesome performance I work with really big excel files with a lot of formulas and functions that slowed down my old computer, but My Sager Np9150 works with them with no hassle whatsoever. The only thing I recommend everyone to get is a SSD instead of a regular HDD, really they are really worth it, don't worry about the space limitation, buy an external HDD With XoticPC. I did and it also works as an external USB 3.0 cradle for any Sata 2.5 Hdd now that's Value! The only thing i didn't like THAT much was the keyboard layout, but I'll get used to it, eventually, I always use an external KB at work and home, so It isn't much of a big deal, but on the move, I'm going to miss the context menu key that most keyboards have. Besides from that last detail, you can't go wrong with this Rig It's quite Solid and the Video card is User Upgradable, so give it a year or two and get a GTX 680 onto it and some more RAM and you've got yourself a pretty powerful machine for a couple of years more.
