Nathan Lindeman - 04/13/2009 One Word... WOW. I am currently depolyed to Iraq, and Ordered this beast w 4gb ram, 3ghz quad core CPU, and the single 9800gtx, and Vista Ultimate 64-bit.
I say again... WOW. I can play Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance @ 1920x1200, with full graphics, and still squeeze 25 fps out on a huge 8 player map. THAT IS AMAZING. Granted, I now kind of wish I would have opted for the 8gb ddr2 and the dual 9800 GTX's, but that can be done later.
This machine is utterly amazing, $3000.00 WELL SPENT. Works wonders with multi-tasking. I am seeing after about a month that I have 3 dead pixels, but I can't really blame that on XOTIX PC, and I did not purchase the insurance. I love the gigabit eithernet, the bluetooth is great, Wireless is wonderful. I really can't find anything to complain about.
The few things I can say bad about this machine are far overshadowed by what I can say about the good things. On the plus side, I can use it when I get home to double as a space heater! LOL. Just waiting to see how it does online with EvE online, But somehow, I think it will do just fine. Hats off to you all at XOTIC PC.
Also, Thank you for supporting our troops, we all appreciate it. We'll see you on the flipside.

vidal hernandez jr - 04/08/2009 Superb Machine! I bought this with XP Pro SP3 but will get Vista for gaming. I am in love with this "Portable Desktop." I recommend this portable desktop to anyone who is interested in gaming or owning a monster. I ordered mine with the quad-core 3.0GHz, 4GB ram, 9800GTX NVidia, 1920x1200 screen for just $2600. If you want to match the specs to Dell/Alienware you will be spending at least $1000 more. Keyboard is very responsive and soft just how I like it. Touchpad a bit sensitive, no matter because I use a Nano Wireless Laser Mouse from Logitech. The only two cons in this laptop is: NO HDMI and Number keypad is compacted to fit the laptop. I am a Drafter and I utilize the Numeric Keypad very often, but I have to adapt with this keyboard. Other than those two, it was worth the $2600+ spent on it.
BTW
Special Thanks to Justin W and Elizabeth Vasa and XoticPC Service Department.
I had ordered an ASUS laptop that being shipped until I found the SAGER laptop I returned the unopened package and ordered this one and with HASSLE-FREE customer service they took care of my charging problem leaving me with the difference of two laptops to pay. WOW excellent customer service 5/5. |

Daniel Versluis - 02/01/2009 I bought this laptop back in october '08 with a 9650 3,0 ghz processor, 3X320 720 gb 7200 rpm hdd, and a uwxga 1920x1200 screen. after a few updates this laptop outperforms my previous desktop like a dream. This is by far the best investment I have done since winxp came on the marcet. |
Mark Leighton - 01/24/2009 I purchased mine in January of '07 and have been hammering away at every day tasks and serious gamming, the people at xotic were always helpful. I'm actually having a problem with one of my GeForce 8800 GTX's right now, but between Win7 Beta and the other 8800 GTX I'm experiancing little actuall change in performace!!! I love this thing!!! |
