Warranty Information

XOTIC PC Desktop Warranty Details:

Customer service is among our highest priorities. Here at XOTIC PC, we consider you a customer for life, and will continue to provide outstanding customer service and support, even after the sale. Our philosophy is to extend ourselves indefinitely to our customers in providing for their every need. We will never compromise our efforts to provide the "best overall value" for our customers.

Here are our basic tenets of our desktop warranties:

Parts & Labor Warranties:
We will NEVER charge you for labor. All Desktops come with 1 YEAR parts warranty. (2, 3, & 4 Year Parts Warranty options are available, and often times, many desktop components come with 3-5 year parts warranties from the manufacturer). During the duration of your parts warranty, XOTIC PC will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at XOTIC PC discretion, without charge to you. All original parts replaced by XOTIC PC or its authorized service centers, become the property of XOTIC PC. You are responsible for the payment, at current rates, for any service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.

Returns & Repairs:
If within the first 30 days (30 days from date of shipment) you experience technical problems with your system, and/or would like to return your system for a refund, XOTIC PC will refund less a 15% restocking fee on your system due to the high amount of labor, testing, and unrecoverable costs of building custom desktop systems. (Desktops with custom painting, custom skins, and/or other possibly irreversible finishes are automatically charged a 20% restocking fee, regardless of when the desktop is returned). XOTIC PC does not accept returns for refund after 30 days (30 days from date of shipment). All shipping costs and rush production fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. When a Free Shipping coupon is offered it is deducted from the product's price and shipping is always charged on all items shipped.

A cancellation fee of 3% will be assessed to any canceled desktop order regardless of payment method.

Canceled orders take 24-48 business hours to complete. If shipment takes place before cancellation is completed, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

If you decide to cancel your desktop order and your order has already gone into the production phase (phase 2) a 15% restocking fee will be assessed.

Shipping Information:
XOTIC PC will cover Ground Shipping costs both ways (2 ways) on systems needing repair within the first 30 days (30 days from date of shipment). (XOTIC PC uses UPS for all repair shipping returns). An RMA Number or Support Ticket is required for this support service. You will be required to cover shipping costs after the 30 day term (30 days from date of shipment) if requesting repair or service. You will be required to cover addition shipping costs or methods beyond standard ground shipping both ways (2 way).

Software & Accessories Returns & Warranties:
Opened or active software is not eligible for return or refund. Opened or damaged external accessories, such as but not limited to external keyboards, mice, monitors, speakers, and headsets are non-returnable and non-refundable unless warranted under the warranty provided by the component's original manufacturer. XOTIC PC provides no warranties, or extended warranties on any external components such as but not limited to keyboards, mice, monitors, speakers, and headsets.

Desktop Warranty Terms & Conditions:
XOTIC PC makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to an implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this computer other than as set forth below. XOTIC PC makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer's product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.

Except as provided above, XOTIC PC is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the computer. Under no circumstances shall XOTIC PC be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the computer.

The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.

Excluded from this warranty in all cases:
Any damage caused during shipment (except the shipment to the original purchaser) and any damage caused by such as but not limited too: impacts, fluids, floods, fire, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster; unauthorized changes or modifications, attachments or peripherals, improper use, environmental damage, improper installation or electrical supply adjustments; improper maintenance; any other misuse, abuse, or mishandling. XOTIC PC's sole liability, under this warranty, for failure to repair or replace the hardware system after a reasonable number of attempts is limited to replacement or, at XOTIC PC's sole discretion, refund of the original purchase price less shipping costs and rush production fees as stated above. XOTIC PC will, under no circumstances, be liable for any other damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential and other similar claims whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, or strict liability. Damages excluded include but are not limited to: loss of data or software, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of use of the hardware system, loss of use of related equipment, cost of substituted or replacement equipment, purchaser's time, injury to property, and all claims of third parties.
